- List visible rock, concrete, roots, trash, or other mixed material.
- Show equipment access, gate width, overhead obstacles, and the loading area.
What changes the scope and price?
A pile that can be loaded near a truck is a different request from soil behind a narrow side yard. Material condition, hauling weight, loading equipment, and receiving-site requirements affect the plan. Photos alone do not establish that soil is acceptable at a particular destination.

Do not describe unknown soil as clean or uncontaminated without supporting information. Excavation, testing, and hauling are separate scopes; specialist review may be needed. An inquiry does not establish a disposal destination or available operator.
Do I need to know the number of truckloads?
No. Begin with approximate dimensions, photos, the origin of the soil, and access details. The loading and hauling plan can then be discussed using those facts instead of an unsupported truckload guess.
